Sandia Foundation Community Contributions
Since its inception in 1948, the Sandia Foundation has granted more than $45 million to Dickinson College, $45 million to the University of New Mexico, and $10 million to support the work of many Albuquerque nonprofits. We have been proud to support organizations that provide emergency food and shelter to the homeless, job skills training, domestic violence shelters, wellness programs, dance and music programs for young people, dental care for seniors, financial education for women entrepreneurs, and many health organizations.
The efforts of the Sandia Foundation are concentrated on partnering with Albuquerque nonprofits that work with children in our community with regard to basic needs and advancing their education through long-term, consistent intervention and support. A Request for Proposals will open July 1, 2024 and will close July 31, 2024. Please refer here for the full RFP and link to the application.
