The Sandia Foundation has three beneficiaries--the University of New Mexico, Dickinson College and the Albuquerque community. Through a competitive grant program, the Foundation makes annual grants to Albuquerque non-profit organizations. The Foundation focuses on the well-being and educational advancement of children in the Albuquerque community.
Since 2006 the Sandia Foundation has engaged the services of the Albuquerque Community Foundation to administer its annual grant award program. Sandia Foundation’s Trustees continue to review and recommend grant recipients; however, the Albuquerque Community Foundation organizes the grant applications and performs the required due diligence.
