Ed Garcia

Ed Garcia started his professional career as a Regional Management Assistant for Toyota/Lexus USA in California. He returned to the family business as Operations Manager at Garcia Honda in 1993. In 1995, Ed purchased the Infiniti dealership in Albuquerque, along with his brother Toby, and became the youngest dealer principal in Infiniti network history at the age of 27.  Over the past 20+ years, Ed, as the Managing Member and Dealer Principal, has focused on growing the Garcia Automotive Group with the right brands in the right markets. Today, they have 15 Franchised Automobile Dealerships in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and El Paso which retail approximately 10,000 vehicles per year, employ over 300 individuals and have $300M in annual revenue. They are New Mexico’s largest, locally owned dealership group.  Ed also manages the family’s real estate and investment portfolio.  He has served on the Board of Directors of many local organizations, including the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art in Santa Fe, the New Mexico Automobile Dealers Association (Past Chairman), the Albuquerque New Car & Truck Dealers Association (Past President), the New Mexico Board of Finance, the Albuquerque Country Club (former Treasurer), and the New Mexico Symphoney Orchestra.  Ed currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sandia Foundation and Central New Mexico Community College.
